Our Developmental Program Teams

- Compulsory (Level 3-5) -

- Optionals (Level 6-10) -

Competition begins at the compulsory level, consisting of Levels 3 through 5. Gymnasts compete in the same routine as all other competitors in all four events. This results in mastery of the most fundamental and basic gymnastics elements.

As a gymnast advances, they begin competing as an Optional gymnast, consisting of Levels 6 through 10. Optional gymnastics provides opportunities for a gymnast to perform to their strengths; while they must meet specific requirements, they also have many options as they compose their competitive routines.

The DP Compulsory season is September through December, with State being in November/December.

The DP Optional season is January through April, with Regionals, Westerns, and Nationals falling in April and May.
