Our Xcel Teams
Bronze - Silver- Gold- Platinum- Diamond - Sapphire
Peak’s Xcel gymnasts compete in five regular season meets and must meet a minimum qualifying score during the regular season to qualify for the State Championships. For some levels there is the opportunity to compete in a regional meet if the athlete reaches a minimum qualifying score at the State Championships. Each athlete is expected to participate in all competitions.
The Gold, Platinum, Diamond, and Sapphire season starts in January for intrasquad and goes through April for State meets and May for Regional meets.
The Bronze and Silver season starts in February for intrasquad and goes through the beginning of June for State meets.
Xcel Competitive Gymnastics
The Xcel program has been a great addition to the USA Gymnastics programs. For some athlete’s they may not want the extensive and intense training of the USAG Developmental Program, or may also want to participate in other sports and simply cannot meet the training obligations that are required of a USAG DP gymnast.
Peak believes that athletes should be able to explore many different areas of interest, without having to give something up. Gymnasts in the Xcel program have the opportunity to achieve goals in an environment that is in line with their vision of competitive gymnastics.
