Recreational Gymnastics Classes

The Recreational Gymnastics Program is geared towards teaching young athletes the fundamentals of gymnastics in a fun and safe environment. Your child will work on growing their strength, flexibility, balance, coordination and gymnastics terminology. Our goal is to help these athletes understand the importance of fitness, how to live a healthy lifestyle, and how to have fun doing it!

KINDERGARTEN

(AGES 5-6 & IN KINDERGARTEN) Our Kindergarten Gymnastics classes for beginners are designed to introduce kindergarten-aged athletes to fundamental gymnastics on full size equipment. These gymnastics classes will closely mimic the curriculum used in our Beginning Girls Gymnastics class, where you will see skills such as handstands, cartwheels & bridge kick overs on floor, casts, and pull overs on bars, releve walks, jumps, and levers on beam, and board entries on vault.  These students will spend a lot of time working on learning body control and gaining strength while doing these basic skills.

(AGES 6+ & IN 1ST GRADE) Our Beginning Gymnastics classes are designed to introduce athletes to fundamental gymnastics on full size equipment. All instruction is taught on full size equipment with highly trained coaches. Skills taught include but not limited to: handstands, cartwheels, bridges & bridge kick overs, pull overs on bars, handstand on beam and more. Students will continue to work on body control and focus on building strength and flexibility, which is an important part of gymnastics. Beginning level 1 and 2 must be completed before moving to the next level.
